Welcoming Autumn

This month we have welcomed Autumn. The children have been exploring the outdoors and the changes that come with this season. Some of the rooms have been on a nature hunt in the playground, collecting Autumnal objects to use in their painting, experimenting with colours and textures. The babies have been exploring more sensory painting, looking at Autumnal colours and having fun mixing colours. The children have also been talking about Autumn during story and circle time, talking about animals hibernating, weather and the leaves changing and falling.
