Around the World

This month preschool are learning about the world around them. During the first  week we have focused on the U.K to learn about where we live, focusing on the flag, traditional foods and currency. We have also tried lots of foods during the month (beans on toast, brioche, pancakes and cheeses) as we have also been learning about France. The children have also made some beautiful Eiffel Towers using lollipop sticks and coloured in some French flags. During the last week we have been learning about Asia, exploring a tuff-tray filled with some traditional objects. The children have loved dressing up in traditional outfits and relating this week to their knowledge of Chinese New Year.
